EMB CHRISTMAS CONCERT MEMBER NEWS
First of all, THANK you for being willing and able to play this
year!
Secondly, concert
folders are available for
check out at Flint Hills Music, 715 Commercial. Please be sure to put your
name on the list for the folder you take. FHM hours are M-F 10:00-7:00, Sat.
10:-- - 5:00, and Sun. 12:00 - 3:00
Lastly, here is all the info I can think of for the concert:
Date: Sunday, December 18
Location: Everything happens at
the Granada Theater in the 800 block of Commercial. Parking will be
available on Commercial or in the parking lot in the 700 block of Merchant,
or the stalls on Commercial.
Schedule: Rehearsal is
from Noon until 1:30
Lunch is at 1:30 in the Granada. Friends
of the City Band will cater (sandwich bar)
Concert starts
at 3:00 pm
Admission is
free to the public. We are asking for free will donations (You are also
invited to contribute your "pay" for this concert - hint, hint)
Dress is the usual, white shirt,
black pants. Ladies may wear skirts if desired. Ties are okay, too.
We would appreciate an help loading out after the concert.
This has to be done quickly, as time in the Granada costs $$$.
We were able to purchase some new music for this concert! I
hope you will enjoy it, along with several old favorites.
